More of Light & Shadow

As I said earlier also that I am not that good a writer, therefore I will straight away jump to the point. I have been to Taj earlier and clicked some pics but that was 8years ago. I was an amateur, I am still an amateur. The only difference was that I was carrying my DSLR :). Also, last time I was all alone for good 3-4 hours but this time I had my in-laws with me so couldn't really click much.

However, this time I tried something new. I tried clicking the shapes that shadow was forming on the monument. Here is what I experimented. In the image below you can see one of the minaret’s shadow falling on Taj.
Minaret's Shadow falling on Taj

Dome's shadow falling on Minaret

In the above image you can see Dome's shadow falling on the Minaret. I think if I would have shifted a little on my right hand side I could have got the shape of dome a bit more clearer. I know that these images haven't come out that well but I am open to suggestions. It can be the right angle, the right time of the day and etc do let me know what can be done to work out this. There can be n number of solution, don't forget to share yours.

Light & Shadow

Writing a post after more than 4yrs. But all this while I was still experimenting and clicking some good and bad shots. Thats upto you to decide whether they are WOW, OK or SAD. Now here is something that I tried in Amber Fort, Jaipur (Rajasthan). Nothing special but a simple lamps on the wall. I liked the design that was forming on the wall. Grand and Royal.

More and more to be shared...

Man with colorful turban.

Before meeting this old chap I used to feel that people in Rajasthan only wear a colorful turban. I was amazed to see him when we were on our way to Aurangabad from Mumbai. He was simply walking towards us and then he looked at us as if he was posing. This shows that a lot of places in India are still unexplored and culture is so vast that it's nearly impossible to cover in one's lifetime.

Now for example can you recognize what is this? Can you guess?

Now? Any luck? OK fine these were the close up shots, lets try this.

Experiment (Reflection)

Guys you must have noticed that there are times when we learn new things and then we try to do it every now and then. For eg, when I was small I fell in love with Yellow color, so whenever I used to draw anything I used ensure that yellow is there in that painting. Guess I have not been able to over come that, today its REFLECTION.

Here is what I have tried :-

Try this.................

OK, feedback time. Please do tell me how did you find this? There is more guys but in next entry...

Trying to tell a story

The moment I reached to this point at the Neemrana fort (its on the NH 8 the Jaipur Highway) I felt that this will not be a simple image. I felt that this will be an image which can say a story on its own. On second thought I felt that a different angle would have given a new meaning to it but I still feel that this a good attempt.

Do let me know if you have any suggestions.
